SHR Lifestyles is elevating its market presence through the introduction of ‘Beyond Special,’ a large-format retail concept designed to redefine the ethnic wear shopping experience. By consolidating daily wear, festive collections, and lifestyle accessories such as jewelry and perfumes under one roof, the brand is transitioning from conventional apparel outlets to comprehensive fashion destinations. This initiative aligns with a broader industry trend where retailers are prioritizing immersive, high-density store environments to drive customer retention and increase average transaction values.
Engineering long-term revenue growth
The company has set a target to reach nearly Rs. 1,000 crore in revenue by 2031, supported by an aggressive expansion roadmap that envisions a network of 400 outlets nationwide. Central to this architecture is the rollout of 25 to 30 ‘Beyond Special’ stores over the next five years, with management opting for a disciplined, quarterly cadence for new flagship openings. Each store, spanning approximately 5,000 to 6,000 sq ft, is projected to contribute up to Rs. 10 crore in annual revenue in marquee locations. Sandeep Kapoor, Founder and Managing Director, describes this move as a calibrated retail transformation intended to deliver sustainable compounding growth by offering the complete brand universe in high-visibility urban markets.

Beyond its traditional ethnic strengths, the company is scaling its presence in the saree and men’s ethnic wear segments - the latter introduced just last year. By integrating in-house design studios capable of producing 10 to 12 fresh designs daily, the firm ensures rapid responsiveness to shifting consumer aesthetics. Combined with a multi-tier retail strategy, This agility ranging from affordable core stores to premium experiential formats—positions the brand to capture a wider share of India's growing base of aspirational urban professionals and global consumers.
