Myntra elevates Sharon Pais to head platform as quick commerce reshapes fashion e-commerce

In a strategic leadership transition within the Flipkart Group, Sharon Pais has been appointed as Head, Myntra, succeeding outgoing Nandita Sinha, CEO. Taking charge following a solid fiscal period, Pais assumes operational control as Indian online retail experiences rapid consumer migration toward instant gratification. Under her leadership, the fashion platform is accelerating the scale-up of M-Now, its rapid commerce delivery vertical operating across 10 major metropolitan centers and 940 postal codes. By offering over 100,000 fashion and beauty styles within 30 to 60 minutes, Myntra is capturing high-frequency urban demand driven by immediate lifestyle needs and social occasions.

Profitability foundations fuel next-phase D2C growth

The appointment preserves continuity at a time when Myntra remains the sole profitable vertical within the Flipkart portfolio. In FY25, the enterprise generated Rs 6,042.7 crore in revenue alongside an 18-fold net profit expansion to Rs 548 crore. To sustain momentum, management is prioritizing high-margin direct-to-consumer brand incubations and artificial-intelligence-driven style recommendation engines. Pais has worked closely with the team and understands the business well, reflecting the depth of our internal leadership, states Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart Group.

Premier digital fashion destination drives subcontinental apparel retail

Founded in 2007 and acquired by Flipkart in 2014, Bengaluru-headquartered Myntra is India's leading digital fashion, beauty, and lifestyle marketplace. Offering national and international apparel labels, the enterprise projects long-term profitable expansion by scaling quick-commerce fulfillment, AI personalization, and D2C brand accelerators across metro and regional hubs.
