Geographic diversification boosts Pearl Global revenue growth in Q2, FY27

Multinational apparel manufacturer Pearl Global Industries delivered exceptional performance in Q2, FY27, driven by targeted capacity redistribution across low-cost manufacturing hubs. The company’s consolidated net profit for the quarter increased by 74.7 per cent Y-o-Y to Rs 125.76 crore ($15.1 million), up from Rs 71.97 crore in the corresponding prior-year period. Total operating revenue expanded by 37.2 per cent to reach Rs 1,801.53 crore, supported by strategic volume growth in Southeast Asia and Central America that offset supply chain volatility and geopolitical friction across traditional South Asian production hubs.

Optimizing global footprint to protect operating yields

The manufacturer’s margin expansion reflects structural shifts toward higher-value product categories and optimized factory floor efficiency. Net profit margins widened to 7.0 per cent, compared to 5.5 per cent in Q2 FY26, as operational leverage absorbed overhead cost pressures. Higher utilization rates across facilities in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Guatemala helped cushion global freight tariff increases.

Scaling manufacturing capacity across diversified global hubs enables us to mitigate localized supply disruptions while capturing premium order flow from tier-one global fashion retailers, notes Pallab Banerjee, Managing Director, Pearl Global Industries.

Targeting over Rs 3,500 crore in annual revenues

Founded in 1987, the Gurugram-headquartered exporter specializes in knits, wovens, denim, and outerwear for major Western fashion brands, targeting continued multi-region expansion with projected annual revenues exceeding Rs 3,500 crore.
